LOCAL NEWS-Today is the two year anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf. Research into the disaster is showing that, while not threatening to humans, a lot of the fish around the explosion site are sick. Voters in Port Allen head to the polls tomorrow to vote for a new Police Chief. Apparently drugs were the motivation for the Beau Pre home invasion earlier this month. The verdict is in and Trucko Stampley will spend the rest of his life behind bars, having received four life sentences in District Court on Thursday.
