New Orleans Saints Defensive End Will Smith was arrested overnight in Lafayette and is charged with domestic abuse.

A spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department says they received a call around 2 a.m. about a disturbance between Smith and his wife.

The disturbance allegedly became physical when Smith grabbed his wife by her hair and began pulling her down the street.

29-Year-Old Smith was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center without incident, and is now out on $1000 bond.
