The greater chance of strong storms developing lies in ares of the Mississippi Valley on Monday. However, southeastern sections of Louisiana could still see a few, intense cells form during the afternoon and evening. Although, the chances of severe weather are higher in northern portions of the region, tornadoes, hail, heavy rain and damaging wind are possible here, too.
Another round of severe weather is possible on Tuesday. Although, the development of storms will push east of the state during the early afternoon. The "Slight Risk" of severe weather shifts into the Deep South by late, Tuesday afternoon into the night.
