The National Hurricane Center has their eye on three tropical waves in the tropics.

The first wave lies near the Yucatan Peninsula and is given a low chance of development over the next 48-hours. It will drift westward, away from Louisiana and the northern Gulf Coast.

The second wave is in the eastern Caribbean Sea and is given a medium chance of development over the next 48-hours. It will drift into the northern Caribbean Islands, also, away from the Gulf of Mexico. People in the Bahamas and southern Florida should keep monitoring the forecast track and development of this system.

The third wave is in the far, eastern Atlantic Ocean and is given a low chance of development over the next 48-hours. It will continue heading westward, through the central Atlantic Ocean, as a weak system.
