Tropical Depression Eleven formed in the central Atlantic Ocean on Saturday night. The National Hurricane Center measured winds at 35 mph, with gusts above 45 mph.

They forecast it could become Tropical Storm Jerry on Sunday, as conditions are primed for further development. Despite the forecasted gain in wind speed, Tropical Depression Eleven of Tropical Storm Jerry will not threaten any land areas.

It will head north, with a gradual turn east over the next, few days. By Monday into Tuesday, the system will do a full circle in the open waters of the Atlantic and turn back north into the northern Atlantic.
