Straight line winds caused some big damage this morning in Morgan City.

Several camper vehicles were flipped on their sides on Wednesday, May 22. We’re told the roof was torn off of a local business.

Many people thought a tornado was to blame for the damage. However, the National Weather Service has confirmed that straight line winds were the cause.

The good news is that no injuries were reported.
