STORMTRACKER33 — The second named storm of the 2011 Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed. Tropical Storm Bret is located just off the East Coast of Florida. The winds are currently at 50 mph, and the track has it drifting slowly to the south before making a northeast turn and going out to sea. Bermuda may be affected by this system in a few days. The only affect it will have on the United States is the possibility of rip currents along the East Coast beaches. We will continue to track it. Elsewhere, tropical development is not expected for the next 48 hours.
