STORMTRACKER33 — The National Hurricane Center now gives the tropical wave located around the Bay of Campeche a 70% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours. Upper-level winds are becoming more conducive for development, so tropical depression formation could be imminent. It will track slowly to the WNW toward the Mexican coast over the next couple of days. Regardless of formation, locally heavy rains and gusty winds will continue over Eastern Mexico for the next few days. Elsewhere, tropical cyclone development is not expected.
