NWS confirms tornado in Walker

WALKER, LA (NBC33) — The National Weather Service says a tornado was to blame for Wednesday morning's storm damage in Walker.
We’re told the EF-1 tornado touched down just after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The twister threw debris all over the area and tore roofs off houses.
The tornado only stayed on the ground for about a half mile.
An EF-1 tornado has winds of about 100 miles per hour.
