The National Hurricane Center now gives the tropical wave located around the Bay of Campeche a 90% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours.  The AF Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft investigated the broad area of low pressure over the Bay of Campeche this afternoon and did locate a low-level center of circulation. However, associated showers and thunderstorms aren't sufficiantly organized to classify it as a TD at this time. Upper-level winds are becoming more conducive for development, so tropical depression formation could be imminent. It will track slowly to the WNW toward the Mexican coast over the next couple of days.  Tropical Storm warnings likely to be issued for Mexico tonight or tomorrow morning.  Regardless of formation, locally heavy rains and gusty winds will continue over Eastern Mexico for the next few days. Elsewhere, tropical cyclone development is not expected.
