Emily joined the NBC33 News Team in August of 2007. You’ll see Emily, most often, anchoring Fox 44 News Baton Rouge, weeknights at nine on our sister station WGMB FOX 44.

Before joining our family or stations, Emily was a member of the Lady Tiger Softball team. The All-American pitcher and four-time All-Louisiana team member started her career as a Sports Reporter at NBC 33.

Before making the transition to a general assignment reporter at NBC 33 in 2008, Emily covered several major sporting events including the LSU Tigers’ victory in the 2007 BCS National Championship game inside a rowdy Louisiana Superdome. She also followed the National Championship Baseball Tigers all the way to the College World Series in Omaha in 2009.

She calls Baton Rouge home now, but she is originally from San Diego, California.
That’s why you’ll see her wearing a lot of blue and gold. She’s a huge Chargers fans.
