Tropical Weather Picture

Today Satellite pictures show that shower and storms associated with a Tropical Wave located about 200 miles SSW of Jamaica is becoming better organized. Surface observations are also falling indicating that a Tropical Depression may be forming and could happen as early as today or tonight. The system is forecasted to continue to move towards the west at 15mph. The chance of development has been raised to 80%. Computer forecast models continue to show a general WNW movement towards Central America.
