Panda is an adorable little kitten that was found in a Baton Rouge neighborhood all alone. The man who found her searched for a mother or siblings, but could not find any. That’s when he turned to Cat Haven for help.

The Ascension Parish Animal Shelter will have a booth at the Awesome Art on the Bayou, Louisiana Arts and Cultural Festival, held at the City of Gonzales' Jambalaya Park.

So many animals in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas need good homes. Before you purchase a pet from a breeder or pet store, make sure to take a look at all the foster pets that need adopting.

Last year alone more than 11,000 animals were sent to animal control in Baton Rouge. Although the shelter is now “no kill,” the over crowding is leading to an emergency situation.

More animals than ever are in need of a good home in Baton Rouge. Friends of the Animals BR is a non-profit volunteer organization that tries to help take furry friends out of the pound and in the arms of a loving family.

Orange Tabby’s are not very common, so finding two in the same litter is extra special. Ginger and Cinnamon are a rare set of sister kittens and they caused quite a stir when they came by our studio.
