Tigers down Ducks, 40-27

ARLINGTON, Texas (NBC33) - — It was a dominating performance in Cowboys Stadium Saturday night for the LSU football team. The Tigers defeated the Oregon Ducks 40-27.
For LSU, it was their defense that shined by shutting down an Oregon offense that averaged 47 points a year ago. LSU forced 4 turnovers in the game, setting up key touchdowns that led the Tigers to the win. In his first start since 2009 quarterback Jarrett Lee passed for just 99 yards and a touchdown. Running backs Spencer Ware and Michael Ford combined for 40 carries, 195 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Tigers will play in state for Northwestern State this Saturday in Tiger Stadium at 7 pm.
