SU's Granger new SWAC Hall-of-Famer

BIRMINGHAM, Al (NBC33) A former Southern University All-American football player makes his way into the SWAC Hall of Fame.
Charlie granger is already a member of the Southern University Hall of Fame. The SWAC Hall of Fame honor will be made official Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama.
The 72-year old was a 2-time All-America selection in the blue and gold.
He played under the legendary SU coach Ace "AW" Mumford, and won 2 SWAC championships.
Granger took his game to the pro-level where he played for the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals in the early 60's.
Congratulations to Charlie Granger he joins 5 others in the 2010 induction ceremony Thursday.
