The Southern University athletic department is patiently waiting for relief from the NCAA. All of the Jaguar teams are currently under an NCAA postseason ban for having “unusable data” on student-athlete's academic progress.

The athletic department and school administrators have formed a task force to fix the problems.

The NCAA said Southern officials will meet with an academic committee, to discuss the school’s data reporting issues and how to move forward with accurate and prompt submissions in the future. That meeting is scheduled for June 25.
