Kickers battle for starting job at Southern

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Place kicking was a major area of concern a year ago for the Southern football team. The kickers made just fifty percent of their field goal attempts and missed out on seven extra points. This year head coach Stump Mitchell hopes to change that.
Junior Matthew Hill and freshman Gregory Pittman are the players who will be counted on to make the difference. But the question remains who will win the starting job.
