Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Like LSU, the Southern Jaguars expect to have their hands full this weekend against a team from Alabama.

The Jags will hit the road to take on Alabama A&M. Interim Head Coach Dawson Odums and company will try and avoid their first three-game losing streak under his reign.

The jags currently sit at 3-5, with no shot at the SWAC Championship. But Odums says that the team has a lot to play for, with just 3 games remaining on the schedule.

“The seniors can still play for a winning season, and I always tell them that you want to have a November to remember. That's how you carry onto the next season - it’s based on what you do in November.,” stated Odums.

Saturday's contest is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Huntsville, Alabama.
