The Southeastern Lion football program is turning heads. They’ve won six straight games and sit in first place in the Southland Conference.

Ron Roberts, in his second year as head coach, has his team ranked 17th in the FCS Coaches Poll. Southeastern (7-2, 5-2) defeated in-state rival McNeese St. Saturday night helping the Lions jump from 25th in the poll.

The Lions will take on Central Arkansas Saturday in Conway, Arkansas. Southeastern will be home for the final two games of the season (SHSU 11/16, Nicholls St. 11/21).

The Central Arkansas game will be on ESPN3. Tickets are still available at the Southeastern ticket office.
