New Orleans loses Super Bowl LII bid, Minneapolis to host in 2018

BATON ROUGE, LA — The Super Bowl is heading to Minnesota.
Minneapolis beat out New Orleans to host Super Bowl LII, in 2018.
This is the first time New Orleans has ever lost a Super Bowl bid.
Minneapolis is building a new stadium downtown and that played a big part in earning the 2018 NFL Championship game.
Indianapolis was also in the running for but the home of the Colts was the first city eliminated.
