The NFL is enhancing its public safety policy this year to include the type of bag you can bring into the stadium. This is a league-wide policy that applies to all stadiums including the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The new policy should speed entry on game day.

The following types of bags are allowed into the Superdome on Saints Game Day:

• Vendor bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (The bags may be hand-carried or have a shoulder strap) OR a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand (no more than 4.5” x 6.5”), with or without a handle or strap. This can be carried separately or within a plastic bag.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at Gate A on the Ground Level and Gates D and H on the Plaza Level.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following: all purses, bags or containers larger than a small clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags.
