New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton is recovering after surgery for a broken knee.

As a play was ending on Sunday, two players collided with the coach, who immediately fell to the ground.

Payton tore his MCL and fractured his tibia in the collision. Doctors say it'll be two months before he can put any weight on that leg..

Payton is expected to call plays from the booth this Sunday night when the Saints play here on NBC33.
