Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Youngsters in Baton Rouge got tips and training from pro basketball players.

Kids of all ages from elementary school to high school were drilled, and drilled, and drilled on fundamentals by NBA star Ronald Dupree.

It's a camp devoted to not only rehashing the basics of basketball, but physical conditioning as well.

"I'm just trying to instill in them early it's going to take defense, intensity, effort, those are things you have to do, talent will take you the rest of the way." said Dupree
