St. Louis, MO (KTVI) — Clementine Wilkerson has a pretty good curve-ball for being almost 100 years old.
"In 1926 I was 13 and attended my first World Series game." said Cardinals Fan Clementine Wilkerson.
She saw Lou Gehrig and the Sultan of Swat take on the Cardinals at old Sportsman Park.
"I saw Babe Ruth running from second base to third and he sort of waddled." said Clementine Wilkerson.
Since 1926 she's been to at least one game of every Cardinals World Series and she's got the pennants and collectables to show for it. So what's this nice nonagenarian's secret for longevity?
"Well I think I've let a charmed life. I had wonderful parents and a wonderful husband. I didn't smoke or drink, had four wonderful children. I just had a really wonderful life." said Clementine Wilkerson.
On Sunday, the day she turns 99 years old, she'll throw out the first pitch at Busch Stadium.
