Former New Orleans Saints and current St. Louis Rams Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams has been summoned to New York today to meet with NFL security officials to answer questions about what's being called “Bounty-gate”.

The NFL uncovered a bounty pool that rewarded players for injuring opponents. Williams has since issued an apology.

Former Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins players have reported similar bounty systems when Williams coached with those two organizations.

The NFL said at least 22 Saints defensive players were involved in the team's bounty program, and head coach Sean Payton had knowledge of it.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said that discipline against the Saints could include fines, suspensions and loss of draft picks.
