NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A hole in one is arguably the most exciting achievement in golf.
It happened on Tuesday at the PGA National Championship, but with an extra twist.
On the Par 3 14th Hole, it was 200 yards to the cup for leader Matt Dobyns at eight under.
Using a seven iron, Dobyns hits right of the flag and the ball rolls back a few feet and finds the bottom of the hole for a hole-in-one.
As a bonus on that particular hole, Dobyns also wins a golf cart.
He extended his lead to -10, seven shots over second place.
Dobyns is the current leader in the third round of the PGA National Championship.
