NBC NATIONAL NEWS — There is a new champion in college baseball.

The Arizona Wildcats beat the South Carolina Gamecocks on Monday night to sweep the best-of-three series, knocking off the two-time, defending College World Series Champions.

The final out came with the Wildcats up 4-1 with the bases loaded. Once that final out was caught, the celebration began.

This is Arizona's fourth College World Series title and first since 1986.

It was quite a run for the Wildcats, who won 18 of their last 20, including their final 11 games.
