LSU advanced in the Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament on Wednesday afternoon, as the Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and held Alabama to six hits in a shutout victory at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
LSU and Arkansas will play on what has become its traditional Friday slot in 2013 as the two teams will square off in Tiger Stadium on Friday, Nov. 29, the Southeastern Conference, along with CBS, announced Wednesday.
Tonight is the official dedication ceremony for the Skip Bertman field. It will begin at 6:55 p.m. during the LSU vs. Ole Miss game. The 1993 National Championship team will be onhand to celebrate its 20-year reunion.

The LSU Women’s Powerlifting Club took home its fourth national championship at the USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals on April 20 in Killen, Texas. The team has previously won championships in 2008, 2009 and 2011.
