Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The LSU football team received some good news just 101 days from their season opener.

One of the top ranked quarterbacks in the country made his verbal commitment to Les Miles and the Tiger football program.

Hayden Rettig from Cathedral High in Los Angeles announced today he plans to attend LSU.

Rettig will be part of the 2013 signing class, but is expected to graduate high school early and enroll at LSU in the spring semester.
