Report: Arkansas after Les Miles

NBC33 news is following reports today that an offer is on the table for LSU head football coach Les Miles to be the next head coach at Arkansas.

A website, SportsbyBrooks.com, reports that Arkansas if offering a 5-year contract worth more than $27 million to Miles. The Razorbacks fired their head coach, John L. Smith, following Friday’s loss to LSU.

Miles’ agent George Bass has reportedly denied the rumor, saying “there’s nothing like that going on.”

LSU officials have no comment at this time. Miles is scheduled to meet with the media tomorrow afternoon.

LSU just finished their regular season schedule with 10 wins and two losses. Arkansas finished the season 4-8.
