Coach Les Miles and his Tigers are still riding atop all of the polls as the number one college football team.

This week, the Tigers head to Oxford to take on Ole Miss. Normally, it’s a huge rivalry game, but this year, Ole Miss is struggling with a 2-8 record.

Nevertheless, Miles says he's not discounting Ole Miss. He says every game is important, especially in the SEC.

Tonight, Miles talked to the media following practice; he discussed the issue of switching the starting quarterback from Jarrett Lee to Jordan Jefferson against Western Kentucky.

Miles said he doesn't have to ask anyone's permission for who'll he start. He won't say what that decision will be for this Saturday, but no matter what, he predicts a Tiger victory.

After the press conference, Coach Miles headed over to his weekly radio show at T.J. Ribs.

Miles won over fans in between breaks signing footballs and mingling with the Tiger faithful. Overall, most fans say they're madly in love with the Mad Hatter.

LSU fan Chiqui Alvarez said, "I came from Cuba in 1960, and have been following the Tigers ever since. I am a huge tiger fan, and I love that man."

Coach Miles said he wants his quarterbacks to be prepared to communicate no matter how loud the Ole Miss crowd gets, so he used recordings of crowd cheers in practice to get his quarterbacks ready.
