BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Tiger Stadium is poised to become one of the biggest venues in the Southeastern Conference.

The $75-million plan for expanding the stadium was approved by a state financing panel. Renovations include adding 60 suites, 3-thousand club seats and general seating for 15-hundred above the end zone.

When construction is complete, the stadiums overall capacity will stand at around 100-thousand.
