BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - Both the LSU Men's and Women's basketball teams earned victory on Thursday. In the early game Van Chancellors Lady Tiger's defeated the Roadrunners of UTSA, 74-41. In the night cap, Trent Johnson and his gang took down the Cowboys of McNeese State in overtime, 78-66.

The Lady Tigers are back in action on Sunday and will face Louisiana Tech at 3 p.m.

The Men's team will travel to Bossier City to square off against Wichita State at 7 p.m.
