Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A new report ranks the LSU Tigers as eighth when it comes to graduation rates for this year’s bowl teams.

The report by the University of Central Florida's Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sports says LSU’s graduation rate is at 77 percent, which is compared to the 68 percent average for all combined bowl teams.

The report says the Tigers are second in the SEC when it comes to graduation rates; Vanderbilt ranks first.
