Tigers down Arkansas, now on to No.1 Kentucky

Sports
Thursday, March 8, 2012 - 11:07pm

After being tied up at 28 at halftime the LSU basketball team used a solid second half performance to storm by Arkansas, 70-54. With the win the Tigers earn a spot in the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament against the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats.

"First half we had the lead and then slacked off at the end, but its all about 40 minutes and who is going to bring it. We pulled it out in the last 20 minutes, that was the great thing about that game, but you have to play all 40 against Kentucky," freshman point guard Anthony Hickey said following the Tigers win.
