A school-record four LSU gymnasts earned spots on the 2012 All-Southeastern Conference teams, the league office announced Tuesday.

Freshmen Rheagan Courville and Lloimincia Hall received First-Team All-SEC honors, and freshman Jessie Jordan and senior Ashley Lee earned Second-Team All-SEC recognition.

The four All-SEC honorees is the most in one season in LSU history, surpassing the 1981, 1998 and 2005 LSU squads that placed three gymnasts on the All-SEC teams.

Courville, Hall and Jordan were also named to the Freshman All-SEC Team, and the only other gymnast in the league to earn Freshman All-SEC distinction was Florida's Kytra Hunter.

All-SEC teams were based on finish at the SEC Championship. The individual event champions and the top three place finishers in the all-around were named First-Team All-SEC, while the event runner-up and fourth through sixth place finishers in the all-around were named Second-Team All-SEC. The top freshman finisher and top three in the all-around were named Freshman All-SEC.

Hall captured the SEC floor exercise title with a 9.925 to earn a spot on the first team, and it marked her seventh floor title of the season. Hall became the third LSU gymnast to win the SEC floor title, joining former greats Sandra Smith who won in 1981 and 1982 and Ashleigh Clare-Kearney who won in 2008 and 2009.

Courville tallied First-Team All-SEC honors by finishing third in the meet in the all-around with a 39.450, the highest finish for an LSU gymnast since Susan Jackson tied for second in the all-around at the 2009 SEC Championship.

Jordan placed sixth in the all-around with a 39.350, and Lee finished in second place on vault with a 9.925 to earn second-team honors.

No. 9 LSU (10-11) will compete at the NCAA Seattle Regional April 7 at 6 p.m. CT, and fans can listen to the meet free of charge in the Geaux Zone at www.LSUsports.net/live.
