BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The first pitch of the LSU Tigers 2012 baseball season happens tonight at Alex Box Stadium. Before the game, NBC33's Matt Boudreaux conducted a live interview with Coach Mainieri

Tonight’s season opener game is against the Air Force Academy. Coach Mainieri coached the air force from 1989 to 1994. And, he coached the Academy’s current Coach Mike Kazlowsky, who he considers on of his best friends and a true hero for his service to our country.
