Fans have a chance to be a part of "March Madness" in person as LSU is playing host to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday and Tuesday. All-session ticket books and group tickets are on sale now at www.LSUtix.net.

Tickets can also be purchased by calling (225) 578-2184 or in person on the first floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building. The Maravich Center ticket office will open at 3 p.m. Sunday and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

No. 5 seed LSU hosts No. 12 seed San Diego State at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the first round. The first contest features No. 4 seed Penn State taking on No. 13 seed UTEP at 4:15 p.m. The two winners face off in the second round at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

NCAA Baton Rouge Site Homepage

Adult all-session ticket books cost $25 plus applicable fees, which includes admission to all three games of the tournament. Youth all-session ticket books are $15. Group tickets for parties of 10 or more are available for $5 and that includes admission to one session of your choosing.

LSU students are free of charge thanks to the generous donations made by Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva and LSU head coaches Les Miles, Trent Johnson and Paul Mainieri.

To gain free admission, LSU students must show their LSU ID upon entering the arena. LSU students will enter the Maravich Center using the upper northeast portal, which is the same entrance they use during the regular season.

Parking Map (.pdf)

Parking permits used during the 2011-12 regular season will not be valid for entry to any parking lots for the NCAA Tournament this weekend. All parking held for the event is for official use only.

Fans may park for free in all areas not held for official use. The regular season shuttle route will continue to run for the tournament. The shuttle service will begin 2 hours before each game with return service picking up at the entrance of parking lot I.
