Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The LSU Baseball team is fresh off a perfect opening weekend on the diamond.

The Tigers outscored their three opponents by a score of 33 to 2 over the three-day stretch.

With the three wins, Coach Mainieri and the guys moved up a couple spots in the polls.

They are now number 7 in the Baseball America poll and up 3 spots to number 9 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

The Tigers will host McNeese St. on Wednesday at Alex Box Stadium at 3:00 p.m.
