Bowling set to take over Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — If bowling isn’t already, it’s about to be a big deal in Baton Rouge. Over 60,000 thousand bowlers from around the world are heading to the capital city in February to compete in the United States Bowling Congress Open. An estimated five to seven million dollars in prize money will be given away but that’s not much compared to the 75 to 100 million that will pour into the Baton Rouge economy.
