Coach Les Miles is Home Depot's Coach of the Year.

He'll receive that award tomorrow night.

Of LSU’s 13 wins this year, eight have come against ranked opponents and seven of those eight have been double-digit wins. The 2011 team has ten 20-point wins this season.

LSU students say they couldn't be more grateful for having a head coach like the Mad Hatter.

"The team can't get anywhere unless a coach helps the team, so being the only undefeated team in the nation means a lot for him,” states LSU student Kelli Richard.

Student Ross Holden agrees, “I think he's the most deserving coach of the year. You know all the turmoil, from his sister passing to coaches with Parkinson’s... honestly, he doesn't get enough credit. "

Miles is also a finalist for ESPN’s Coach of the Year; that winner will be announced the day of the BCS championship game.
