Professional boxing is making a return to the capital city.

“It is with great honor to announce our next fight night, Saturday, Oct. 27. Live professional boxing will touchdown at the Belle of Baton Rouge Atrium. I believe God opens doors for us. We need to walk through, boldly. So, one more for the year. Help me and help these fighters,” said Chad Broussard of Boxncar Promotions.

On the card, 3 heavy hitters from Baton Rouge, Travis Scott 11-0, Chris Singleton 6-0, and the pro debut of Justin Thomas. Also Mason Menard, Bailey Bobbitt, Dylon Hollier, and Martin Verdin. This will be a great night of fights. For the first time in over 3 years live Professional Boxing returns to the Belle of Baton Rouge.

“I know it's football season, with U.L. being fire hot, and LSU on a quest for yet another National Championship, boxing may or may not be attended. Listen to this? U.L. plays the Tuesday that week, and LSU has a bye week. So, I ask you, your family and friends, to please take the trip with us. I believe this is yet another opportunity for Louisiana to see what these boys bring to the table. The hope is that we touchdown in every casino in Louisiana. I guarantee you the fights will be way over the top,” Broussard said
