NATIONAL NEWS — College sports are big business, but just how big? A recent study shows just how much money is being spent on college athletes.
The American Institute of Research revealed that in 2010 the SouthEastern Conference spent over $160-thousand per athlete. That's opposed to the $13-thousand spent on the average student on campuses in the SEC, which is 12 times less on the students than the athletes.
