Lady Tigers team up with Susan G. Komen

BATON ROUGE, La -- The LSU Women's Basketball Team announced today, that they have teamed up with the Baton Rouge branch of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure in efforts to raise breast cancer awareness. The new partnership will support women right here in Louisiana. Money raised will be used by Komen Baton Rouge for breast health awareness, screening, breast cancer research, and treatment.

According to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, more than 207,000 women are diagnosed with invasive breast cancer annually and almost 40,000 women die of breast cancer. Lousiana has the highest rate of deaths due to breast cancer in the nation. 

The "Pink Zone" game is January 30th, at 4pm in the P-MAC against Georgia.

Tickets start at $6 for adults and $3 for kids.
