LSU fans will have their fingers crossed for the next three-plus years that Dylan Moses stays true to his word. Moses is projected to be the best player in the country when it's time to head to college. Right now, the Baton Rouge-native is saying he won’t be going very far.

I’ll let you be the judge if 15-years-old is too early for a high school freshman to verbally commit to a certain school.

“I've been loving LSU since I was younger,” Moses, who was on the cover of ESPN the Magazine this summer, said.

He’s nowhere close to starting his college career. But, Sunday night he killed any suspense as to where he wants to play at the next level.

“Ever since my first game I went to at LSU I've been loving it there. I knew I wanted to go to that school,” he told me Tuesday.

He also told me he’s confident there won’t be any flip-flopping from now to 2017. Unless, there’s a big shake up on the Tigers staff.

“If coach Miles or coach Frank (Wilson) leaves then I may have to change my mind then. Anything can change in the next four years.”

What Dylan hopes doesn’t change are the plays he’s making on the field early in his high school career.

“I had a choice to run to the outside or run over the dude. I thought it would be better if I ran over him,” he said recalling his touchdown run Friday night. (See here:

“I knew he was going to break one. Every time in practice he can't wait. I told him you will get yours and he did it,” teammate Nic Brossette said with a smile.

Moses also racked up over 20 tackles in the Cubs 44-33 win over LaGrange.

“He is a good athlete and he can do anything. I congratulated him and I was happy for him because he is a little brother to me,” Brossette added.
