Local high school football team forced to forfeit games

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The LHSAA announced the Capitol High football team will have to forfeit six games from their schedule last year. The decision came because of an ineligable player.
They had to forfeit all they games played in by the student-athlete, including Central, Belaire, and U High to name a few.
In addition, the school will be fined $200, and the ineligible player will have to sit out ten games this season.
