Chicago Bears sign former Southern DE Jordan Miller
BATON ROUGE, La —
Former Southern DE Jordan Miller was among 19 undrafted rookie free agents signed by the Chicago Bears Tuesday. With the NFL lockout over, teams returned to their daily operations which included signing draft picks in time for training camp.
Last season, Miller, a Upper Marlboro, Md. native finished his career as a member of the SU football team posting a single season high in sacks (9) and tackles for loss (15). In 2009, Miller finished third on the team in tackles (54) recording 5.5 sack and recovering two fumbles.
The Bears are slated to open training camp Friday at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. with the first two practices beginning Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at noon.
