BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - Even the pouring rain couldn't completely dampen the spirits of Southdowns parade goers.

Hundreds of people still lined the Baton Rouge neighborhood streets as the procession rolled on, despite the bad weather.

The theme for this year's parade was “Fact or Fiction”.

Parade participants and float riders had smiles on their faces even when the rain was on their heads.
