Baton Rouge, La — Councilwoman Tara Wicker and State Representative Patricia Smith have announced that the annual South Baton Rouge Christmas Parade, “A Winter Wonderland”, will roll on December 1 at 10:00 a.m.
The parade will start at McKinley High School. Mr. and Mrs. McKinley will serve as the Grand Marshalls for the parade this year. The focus for this year’s parade is celebrating our youth and the wonderful things they have accomplished.
“As we begin to look forward to this holiday season, what better way to celebrate than with our Annual South Baton Rouge Parade. Our community is always eager for a great time. So come one, come all to enjoy a Winter Wonderland in South Baton Rouge,” said State Representative Patricia Smith.
“I am so looking forward to this year’s event. So often we focus on the negative things concerning our youth. This is our opportunity to showcase all of the awesome, hopeful, and positive things that our kids have accomplished,” said Councilwoman Tara Wicker.
