The Salvation Army launched a four part video series today. The purpose is to take a look back at the response to the largest disaster in the organization’s history, as well as to raise funds for continued recovery efforts.

Once all of the videos are complete, they will be compiled on a DVD that will be sold. The profits will be used for various recovery efforts.

The Salvation Army will host a Resilience Summit tomorrow in New Orleans. It will be held at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. They will focus on ways that neighborhood organizations can empower citizens to rebuild through unification. The event is free and open to the public.
